There’s a nice build in the intro here that takes us to some solid riffage married with pounding drums. As it makes its first appearance, the vocal is really toneful with an edgy character.

It drives on and when we hit around 1:18, things take a lift and it feels a lot hotter. It all rattles on in fine form and the quality of the vocal is very apparent. We reach just after the halfway mark.  around three minutes and in comes a very classy breakdown.

Things take almost a minute to build back up before we launch into a super fine guitar solo – which is definitely the track highlight for me as a listener – it’s absolutely stunning, believe me.

It seems like a new trend to use an instrument solo to end a song, rather than the tradional (old-fashioned) way of popping it in the middle which takes a bit of getting used to but, it works here. Excellent song – possibly the finest I have heard from these guys.
