Initial thoughts on the production were quickly put to bed wqith this one when, around 18 seconds, the vocal came in. It was quite understated here but had a real quality of tone shining through. Then it burst into life and took everything up a notch.

There’s a slight aggression to the riff here but, there is such an infectious melody to this and they really work together.

It is a pretty well structured song this, it has to be said. By the time we reach minute mark, the earlier production issues seem to have disappeared completely and, around two minutes, it has become some very fine melodic heavy rock.

The playing is pretty solid and we are treated to a blistering solo from around three minutes before ramping back to the chorus and taking us out on a beast of a high note around 3:57.

Give it a whirl… you might just like it!
