Ohh… So sweet is the intro on this song, I must say!
That acoustic guitar was tasty enough but, it was soon accompanied by some classy and complimentary lead play.
The bass hit, the drums beat and this just blasted into life.
The singing ticked the boxes for me anyway with some smooth tone, a wee bit of grit and loads of melodic swagger.
With choruses aplenty, this was some hook laden goodness and it completely swept me off my feet.
The perfect mix of pounding driving bass, chunky riffs and a few pinched harmonics along the way too. Production was off the scale too.
Yeah, one of the best songs I’ve heard this year! (I know… it’s only February haha!)
