Quite a classic styled intro here on this one.
I thought the vocal was superb – real tone and it had a nice edge to it when it went for those higher notes.
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t hugely keen on the drum sounds as they were quite harsh and the cymbals a tad crashy but, the quality of the playing swayed me on this.
The melody made it I think, for me anyway. The chorus was certainly catchy and we were treated to some nice vocal harmonies as well and I detected a bit of a Muse vibe in the voice at this stage.
A good wee solo in there along the way as well and I thought the song ended quite strongly. Worth a listen or two.
