I loved the production on this but, most of all, I loved the song’s energy and the passion of the vocal delivery.
When it began, I thought it was little slow and “Coldplay-ish” but, something kept me listening and, around 38 seconds, I was rewarded as it suddenly took on a much rockier feel and the energy built well into the chorus.
Now, I normally concentrate on a vocal when I am listening to a song but, it was impossible to ignore the quality and precision of the drumming which, supported by some well-timed bass playing, not only gave this track a solid foundation, it also gave it a sense of urgency mood wise – for me anyway.
