Mary’s Creek ‘The Curse’
What a thunderously awesome way to open a song!
It was hard, heavy and I liked the contrast with the vocal when it came in.
It had melody, style and an effortless range – in the mould of Michael Kiske and Geoff Tate and gave such a confident performance.
Not many songs hold my attention for over five minutes but, this managed that without a problem.
Such a well produced track, the guitar solo when it let rip was absolute fire too.
Everything worked and there was not one element that I felt was out of place.
Great song. If you like it hard, hot n heavy… this is THE song!
