This starts off by sounding like something that we wouldn’t cover but, I just loved the acoustic picking on the intro, kept listening and, well, liked what I heard.

The vocal came in really tonefully and, as the track built, it developed a nice slight gritiness. Things picked up pace and urgency a little around a minute in and the vocal lifted a notch.

When it hits 2:16, it really takes a lift energy wise and that’s when I REALLY started to get into it.

There was some amazing guitar playing throughout, especially when it was solo time. It wasn’t “perfect”, there were a couple of dodgy “jazz” notes but, that’s the beauty of emotive guitar playing really.

Did it need four and a half minutes? Probably not but, it was worth it.
