This song had a lot of the things that we look for.
From that initial build up in the intro, the way the vocal came in all driven by a superb riff.
The vocal had a lot of positive characteristics too. In the main, it had a nice depth of tone and delivered its lines well with some passion and confidence.
Now, I did feel that the cymbals were a little on the crashy side, (especially from around three minutes) which I found really distracting but, I took another listen as I felt the song had a lot of strong points.
As I took it all in again, I really liked the way that the song was pushed forward and that subtle BV came through to support the lead. With that, I felt that the rest of the song had enough positives to outweigh the little negative of under produced cymbals and it finished strongly.
It’s punchy, catchy and made me chair dance.!
