It starts out with a real show of intent this one.
The vocal here is absolutely stunning and gives me vibes of Lzzy Hale with the blend of tone, character and range but, most importantly, it’s ability to be awesome but sound as if it was never out of second gear .
I loved the dynamics overall too. The drums had the right balance of aggession and urgency and, in usison with the bass, gave the track some real backbone.
It also allowed the guitars to pretty much do their thing and supply some heavy riffage to drive things along and support the vocals. THEN, we have the solo!
An excellent listen. heavy but melodic hard rock. Is it metal…. you decide!
