Firstly, Let me start off by saying that I thought this was a pretty awesome track. Some nice guitar at the start perked my interest and then we were treated to some quality riffs with the vocals kicking in shortly after.
The tone from the vocalist here has my attention and I really liked the grunge infused feel the song had. BUT, it wasn’t just grungy, it also had a bit of a heavier, metally vibe – kind of Megadeth Hanger 18 undertones.
Cracking breakdown led by a cool wee bassline, some choral repetitions and then into a quick solo before returning to business as usual.
I will add though, there was one thing- the only thing – that I wasn’t overly keen on and that was the kind of shoegaze effect in the backing vocals but not enough to dislike the song – Because it was superb.
