A crisp and fresh track. Plenty of melody and some stunning guitar playing.
Reminded me a lot of Bang A Drum by Jon Bon Jovi actually with the whole feel and chord progression – You know, that song from the Blaze Of Glory soundtrack?
I found this to be a well structured, well produced and a strong vocal performance sold it for me. Solo wise, it was fairly short but, very sweet and pretty emotive.
It ended up a lot more rock infused than I thought I was in for and I felt it had just the right sprinkling of country quality too which gave it a bit of an Eagles vibe..
