That acoustic guitar in the intro was like Jimmy Page himself strumming it.
An instant likeability factor and that is so important for me – so much easier if it doesn’t have to “grow on me”.
The vocal came in and the hammer went down and I was totally sold on this. That’s how simple it can be sometimes.
I can’t actually find the right words to describe how this made me feel tbh – Exhilarated maybe? Warm n fuzzy?
This had everything I look for – in spades! Melody, energy, upbeat, catchy… I could go on.
Top notch vocal, tight sound, superb playing which matched the standard of the writing and I thought this was class in a glass!
