From the way this opened, it didn’t turn out like I as expecting it to – Very briefly I may add but, all the same, I was (for around three seconds) in the questioning corner on this one.
What ensued I can only describe as a musical masterpiece with some highly polished production, flawless vocals and the most ferociously friendly sounding drums ever.
It is safe to say that I was carried along on a wave of heavy riffage, bassy grooves and this was one of the most thoroughly enjoyable songs of the year so far.
Great writing and the sound put me in mind of my favourite Welsh boys – the rather awesome Those Damn Crows – Well, their most recent album anyways.
The least Welsh sounding band ever but, stunningly good!
