A banging start! A really strong vocal with some good backing early on but I’ll be honest here, I wasn’t keen on the BVs between 1:00 and 1:30. It wasn’t enough to deter me though and I relaxed back into the riff (the benefits of having JH handling your guitar work I suppose). Vocal range was stunning and I just loved the way it hi the highs that launched the song into the guitar solo before stylishly reclaiming control right as it was time for another chorus. Pure, unadulterated energy and an excellent rocking track. Proof that you don’t have to like everything in a song to like it!
