For a four minute song,I felt the intro was a bit long BUT, it was of such beastly goodness, it worked!

 

Such a heavy, grunge infused riff giving shades of so many classic bands. I thought the solo from around two minutes in broke the song up well and, what followed was a little bluesier and emotive than what had come before it.

 

I did feel it could possibly have ended about half a minute earlier to be honest as there didn’t really seem much else happening with it and I always like a song to tell a story and, in this song’s case, I felt it had done that already.

 

In saying that, it did play out in quite a chilled manner which, I’m guessing, was the intention all along – just to go from that heavy intro to chill out.

 

Playing was good throughout and the vocals had a nice edge to them. A decent track from these guys.
