It started with a good wee beat this one and I thought it built up really well. It oozed shades of The Mission actually I felt.
As that drum beat, the bass rumbled and the riff hit, I was hooked right in.
As the singing came in, I felt that it took a little bit of a dive in mood and energy and took on a whole different vibe.
The voice just had something about it though – that depth of tone and commanding delivery kept me engaged. Its best bits came after about three minutes where it really let loose and showed some glimpses of what it was capable of range wise.
Everything was solid and tight and it was a well produced track making for a highly enjoyable listen.
Some vibrant gothiness about it for sure.
