This opened with some good energy and the scene was set.

The vocals quickly made an appearance and I was surprised at just how clean they were in contrast to the music. Now, I don’t mean the music was dirty… just that it was a bit heavy grunge like and the singing was just so melodic and soulful.

This continued and, if I’m honest, just separated this song from most of what comes in… It was different but GOOD different. The song had a consistency about it and didn’t deviate from it’s course… not a curveball in sight which was nice 🙂

Well thought out, great writing and I thought the band sounded really tight.

Vocals were the star for me with a little Cornell, a little Ozzy and a little sprinkling of gothic goodness somewhere around the middle too.
