Now, that’s how you start a rock song! A teasing riff grabs the attention and then a little “Hey yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah” brings a letter of intent from the vocals and, before we know it, we are in. Some cracking licks and a LOT of melody in there and I have to say, this is one very awesome song. I’m put in mind of Bill &Ted here… the “double the pleasure triple the fun” song in the soundtrack. (Power Tool’s Two Heads Are Better Than One, I am reminded after hitting the CD rack). You could slide this into any rock compilation from that time and it’d be a seamless addition, it’s THAT a good. Solid playing, great sound and a killer lead vocal.This has all the sass and style of classic era Poison and I liked it a lot.
