A rather quick beat and then the song seemed to starta little “all of asudden” – almost like it was mid-song – but, the vocal that came in was so awesome I (almost) forgot all about that.
The singing was immense when it was clean and clear but, as it hit into those more emotive parts, the grit that was added set the hairs on the back of my neck on end.
The overall sound I thought was a bit on the “live” side but, the playing was natural and, after a barrage of AI tunes it was a welcome change.
So, raw rockiness, some solid guitar work, the rhythm section held it all down and the addition of those keys was just the icing on the cake.
A cracking song, hugely enjoyable and I just LOVED it so much, I listened twice 🙂
