Now, bear with me on this one.
After a bit of a clunky start, this kicked right into life after the first vocal line and everything fell into place at 33 seconds. You just have to get PAST that point to appreciate it.
It had that authentic 80s electronic beat loaded with synths and such a strong vocal (which, I wasn’t expecting it to be quite THAT good after the opening)
The middle part of the song was full on energy, maybe let down a little by the production being totally honest as there seemed to be a little distortion on the entire mix but I loved the keyboard elements and it was so catchy and melody laden.
It went out as it came in – a little clunky – but the midsection was strong enough for me to go away having really enjoyed the listen.
