Well – the intro had a very folky, celticy vibe – pan pipes and all! Like a Celtic Led Zep haha!
This DID go on a little longer than I’d have ideally liked, being honest BUT, I had been given a heads up on that and, so, I stuck around and as I was promised, it DID rock – HARD.
So, it all happened around 1:23, the riffafge ripped in and gave this a completely different feel. Some tasty, melodic, very clean vocals came in just after this and I have to say, I liked them – a lot.
Fast forward until three minutes in though and they were joined – and complimented – by a gritty male counterpart and I thought the contrast worked beautifully.
Some very atmospheric Viking style folk metal ensued just after four minutes, before taking us out in a more gentle manner, just as it had begun.
Yeah, I enjoyed this immensely
