A case of never judge a book by it’s cover this track.
I’ll admit, I looked at the cover art and the “similar artists” and pressed play expecting something not very good to happen… Well… My ears pricked up as soon as that guitar came in.
The riff is insanely catchy, the lead vocal was very toneful and the BVs added an extra dimension. I actually really got into the kind of reggae vibe and, just as I was settling into that, 1:30 happened and it kicked the door in, heavying up a fair bit.
By the time the guitar solo came in, I was absolutely captivated by this song and was kinda gutted when it ended (not a regular occurrence I’ll tell you). Solid, powerful ending too!
