This one just made me shiver! In a good way, relax!
This is one of the tracks from Marisa And The Moths new and second album What Doesn’t Kill You and is one of my favourite tracks – a hard call to make as the entire album is absolute fire.
It opens the album actually and, it does it in style. It begins nice and soft with a stunningly sultry vocal which is so full of tune, tone and character that it captivates you in seconds.
The fact that this is the first track on the album shows just how good it is and how much of a treat you are in for if you play the entire thing.
Slow, deliberate music, and the playing is perfection I have to say which must have made production a dream here. All done in-house as well.. Amazing stuff and I implore you to get a hold of the whole album.
Definitely an artist to watch. If this had been out thirty years ago, this band would be millionaires!
