Straight out the starting blocks, this blasted its way into my ears in style.
After a dynamic opening, it died back for the singing to appear and show some true quality.
This was one of those songs where heavy backing and clean melodic vocals just worked in tandem. Such a consistency about it and I kept waiting for something to go wrong – a rap, a growl… that SOMETHING.
Gladly, it never did and I continued to be treated to a rather classy alt rock song.
Superbly produced, the writing was good and the performance across the board was excellent. Loved it!
