A good balance of picky country licks and heavy hard rock chords all backed with an awesome punchiness from the rhythm section.
A strong, toneful and tuneful vocal which, while I thought it was excellent, I felt it never really let itself go. I’d like to hear a song where it just rips a little.
I’ve been listening to The Cadillac Three and Black Stone Cherry a lot recently and this was a bit like a mix of both bands for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Stonking chorus, ripping solo and what a nice way to finish the track too. Very impressive.
