What a song this is! Cracking intro which had that ability to peak your interest and hold you to see what was coming next. Even the harmonica was hot!
I’ll admit that this is a wee bit bluesier than we normally go for here but this was just soooo good that we had to share it here.
Such a fantastic vocal which was just soaked in character. It had a gritiness but was also smooth and mellow at the same time. Most importantly though, it just dominated the song and was a deserved focal point.
The playing was solid – nothing new to the structure or format at all but everything was just top drawer and it was all wrapped up in a perfectly mixed and produced box.
