This got off to an indifferent start for me I’ll be honest.
The guitar processing was quite harsh and made listening a little uncomfortable apart from anything else BUT, I thought it had a bit of a cool vibe about it so kept with it.
The drumming was a little buried under the bass]and then both of those were overpowered by the guitars. Not for long though as, at 1:12, there was a bit of a turning point and things became just a bit clearer as that bass cut through.
The vocals were very characterful and I thought they delivered the lyrics well. It was all very catchy and the little breakdown around 2:25 was well executed and we were able to REALLY feel the quality of the drumming here.
Sadly, just as it all came together… it was time for the song to end.
I’m sharing this one from a personal enjoyment factor and becasue the good outweighed the not so good (I won’t say bad, because that’d be unfair). Well worth a listen.
