Well, the opening drum rhythm aside, I loved the way this track built.
Very intriguing and teasing. Sometimes it’s the simplisticness of a song that really makes it. A pretty straightforward grungy chord progression and rhythm but it was what went along with it that made this special.
I felt there was just tonnes of tone and character in the vocal and, from the soft opening to the gritty choral sections, it absolutely rocked.
Music was solid and just pretty much ran along in support of the vocal, adding some agression where needed but never looking to outshine the singer or take the limelight.
Excellent track and I liked it a lot – especially because I was able to sing along with the chorus before the first listen was over!
