I’m gonna say this – I wasn’t so sure about this track when it started as the guitar sound was a little “home-made”. BUT, it wasn’t long – around 32 seconds – until things took a huge upturn and the quality started to shine through.

We had some awesome bluesy organ tones beneath a driving rhythm that put me in mind of Jimmy Barnes on that song from The Lost Boys (the one with INXS)

I thought the song had such an excellent riff which was the perfect foil for the vocals, we had a classy little breakdown from around 1:45 (not sure about the underlying synth part here though, I’ll be honest) before it all kicks off again.

Here, we have some banging chorus action where the lead vocal is lifted by some quality BVs and some rather energetic keys once again that steamroll this song towards the finish line.

This has so much energy that, by the end, my feet were well and truly knackered!
