It opened with a melody reminiscent of Locomotive breath by Jethro Tull this one (well… the W.A.S.P cover version anyway). That was the only similarity though as this quickly developed into a very fine piece of hard rock in that classic late eighties mould.
This is a strong contender for my song of 2025 and, I’ll tell you, the competition is pretty fierce but, that is how highly I rate this song and an idea of just how much I enjoyed the listen.
It had everything I look for in a song opening to end…. melody, strong riff, tight sound, raspy, high energy vocal and hot, ripping guitar playing. All the energy and sass of GnR, Y&T, Gun…. the list is endless.
Stunningly enjoyable song and I’m keeping an eye out for Crash Midnight.. a band bang on my rock radar!”
