We live in a world where everyone has an opinion and is able to put it out there without too much of a problem. It also is unfortunately so easy for people to be downright nasty and hurtful towards someone that they don’t even know whithout a care or thought as to how something that is almost a throwaway comment for them can affect someone in real life.

But, that said, it has brought this band here today, to me, to ask for my opinion on their music and, as they have asked, I am here to give it, as always, with honesty.

Bxrrell mentioned in their pitch about comments on their appearance from unknown people, so… I purposely scrolled away from the video to listen without being able to see.

What I heard is a cracking piece of music. I forgot what it was about and just soaked it up.

The first thing is that it is just so well produced. I loved the drum sounds and how that set the backing for so many funky elements to come in, from different guitar licks and little arpeggios to the keys work and electronica.

It had a very 80s poppy vibe to it and I thought the vocal was excellent – so understated at times but it never put a foot wrong the whole song.

We also had THAT solo … sooo emotive and I just felt every note.
