This is something really special. As soon as it started, my feet were rattling off the floor. Then, the riff kicks in and it takes us into a really classy groove. The guitar clams down and lets the beat of the drum carry us into the song. What a vocal! It’s absolutely effortless and has such a smoky tone to it . The lyrics are delivered without a flaw. Step in 2:30 and we’re treated to a bit of a tempo change and there’s a little more urgency to this. I grooved along until 3:34 when I sat helplessly as the hairs on the back of my neck were made to stand to attention as the vocalist took out a high note with ease. Astounding track. Absolutely astounding!
