It came straight in with that classic styled riff but I could hear something in there that separated it from so many others – the vocal!
This is one of those songs that put me on the fence I’ll be honest here…. I thought that there were a few production issues as there was a definite “rawness” in parts BUT, I was just kind of impressed by the vocal.
It was a typical lightly punk edged rocker with a cracking riff. It had a good bit of swagger about it as well and the playing was really tight.
It kind of put me in mind of a (now disbanded) little known band called The Amorettes – mainly in the singing style and delivery and it was good to hear some straight shooting hard rock tbh.
So, I decided to live with the “rawness” and embrace the positive which was that this just ROCKED!
