This kicked off with a real classic “For Whom The Bell Tolls” sort of vibe. It had a doom-laden feel about it that had me intrigued.
As the vocal came in, I thought it was a little light for the music and THEN, in comes some true grit that John Wayne would have been proud of!
Springing to life, it had all the hallmarks of vintage Black Sabbath, including that steady, heavy beat and it went through another change-up around two minutes in with some drumming that put me in mind of 80s Whitesnake.
Jumping to three minutes, it led in for a very tasty guitar solo, some Maiden-esq galloping and then swung upwards in mood as our vocals made another appearance, this time taking it up a touch range wise.
A very enjoyable track and a “quick” five minutes.
