A cool little bassline kicks this off, soon joined by a very Hendrix sounding guitar riff complete with “that” tone.

The vocals come in very gentle and it’s not what I’ve come to expect from Trouble County. This is way more melodic!

One of the things that stick out about this song for me are the drums actually. I felt they were well-timed and had a nice natural bounce to them in a laid back sort of way. No aggression, just steady time-keeping.

Just before the three minute mark sees the appearance of our guitar solo which is pretty sublime – it’s soaked in bluesy tone and I could feel every note. A nice way to break things up before we had more riffage and chorus ad-libbing to take us out to the end.

Give it a spin and I think you’ll agree, this is their best work to date.
