I loved the tentative entrance.. before BAM! The doors are blown off and we have something with the style and pzazz of Van Halen and a little bit of Phil Lynott style swagger.

 

Actually, the more I listen, it’s more like Steve Vai led David Lee Roth solo material. It’s pretty much full speed ahead all the way through and possibly the fastest four minutes of my life.

 

Everything here was outstanding but, in particular, the vocal was, for me, immense and the star of the show. This is the kind of thing that dominated in the late 80s, early 90s and it’d be awesome if more of this sort of stuff was out there right now. Cracking song!
