This burst into life right from the press of the play button. The riff is incredible and this, coupled with the rumble of that bass, set the tone for a cracking hard rocker.
Everything about this track screams classic and I don’t know what I was more impressed by, the performance or just the song structure itself.
Some stupendous playing here. I’ve already mentioned the bass which dominated a little tbh – not a bad thing at all. Guitar playing was consistently good and we had some intense melodies going on.
Vocally, it showed a lot of strength, it was loaded with tone and the delivery was spot on. I was very impressed by the backing vocals here too as they were lying behind the lead but cut through and made themselves an integral part of the track.
The breakdown was really well executed and led into the guitar solo perfectly. An impressive piece of music that I could place alongside some classic 80s hits and it wouldn’t be out of place.
