A little bit unexpected this.
When it opened, I thought I was in for a little slow-ish glam rocker. What followed though had an amazing riff, excellent bass and oozed grooviness and while sounding a bit ZZTop-ish, it also gave me Kiss and Pete Way vibes as well as a bit of Joan Jett and Edwin Collins.
It was impossible to sit at peace while this was on. Nice simple chorus, classic sounding guitar solo (what a tone). Vocally, it was effortless – or appeared that way. Now, I don’t mean that there was no effort haha, I just mean that it didn’t sound to be challenging and the voice was just so pure.
As the song drove towards its end, I also heard a bit of Steppenwolf in there. Loved this.
