Classy intro! As the riff begins, I thought it had a very 38 Special vibe and I quite liked that familiarity that it brought.
Quickly taking to it, I was blown away when the singing started as it had some real quality tones to it right from the off. One of the things I liked most about it was the seamless way it went from clear and melodic to inserting the perfect amount of grit to accentuate things and then reverted back, all the while hitting some nice higher register notes.
The vocal was THAT good that it actually masked how good the rest of the song actually was which I only really picked up on on the second listen, putting the voice out of my head and allowing the tone of the guitars to take over. Such a classic sound but really clean and clear.
The rythm section were faultless as well. The whole band just sounded tight and everything just flowed.
A well written song and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
