This one gets the nod mainly down to the chorus.

The song itself had a nice, classic riff and the guitars did their job superbly. Vocally, I thought it had a touch of that modern, southern hard rock edge where we had a slightly unrefined gritty – verging on a growl – but very melodic quality to it and it was the star of the show for me… especially in those choruses.

There’s a cracking wee guitar solo in there too before we are taken out to the song’s finish with some chorus repitition where it was an easy singalong.

Production was a little raw – especially on the drums where I felt the cymbals had a very sustained “crashy” sound about them but… it wasn’t too much of an issue for me as it’s such a vibey track.
