The intro set the right mood for me and , as soon as I heard that “huh” .. I was in.
The heavy riff with the rhythm behind it beating out was the perfect backdrop for that vocal. Very Stephanie Wlosinski (Hearts & Hand Grenades).
We didn’t really have much of a change of pace throughout the song here. There was a nice break in the midsection and I was sure there was a killer solo on the way but, it never happened. Who doesn’t have a solo in their songs?
What we did have though was some solid playing, good production and passionate, gritty vocals and I very much enjoyed it.
