Such a strong, melodic start and I liked the bassy depth of the intro. My heart sank a little when I heard a hint of growliness coming in but, it was short-lived and I was so glad when it didn’t come to anything (apart from a tiny bit in the backing vocals). I thought it was an interesting blend of heavy rock and pop, and was a bit like A-HA meets Shinedown! It’s superbly mixed and produced, the performance is tight and it has such an infectious melody. I found the chorus quite uplifting and thought the vocal really came into itself here. All in all, an excellent song.
