This one had me at Hammond organ!

Such a cool vibe as soon as it opened with this, then the RJD style vocal enters and just oozes charisma.

A rather blues laden voice that delivered the lyrics in a laid back and confident manner to the backdrop of some authentic sounding 70s hard rock.

The transitions were smooth and classy and this just warmed me to my core – a song that paid homage to the greats but did it all in such a way that it also had originality.

The solo took things down a notch – again another 70s trait – and it was nice to soak up the emotion in the playing.

So good it could be on a Dio era Purple album!
