A swaggering bit of riffage pushed this song from your standard plodding blues rock track into something pretty tasty.
It gave me shades of LA Guns form many moons ago actually and it was possibly that familiarity that sold me on this.
Vocally, it was solid without having any “wow” factor in that respect. Still, maybe it’d have been nice to see what it was capable of a bit more as it had a nice melodic vibe about it.
The whole track was a bit like that in all honesty – no showboating – but, it was all in time, in sync and it worked so, what’s not to like.
The guitar solo did its job without any heroics either.
A bread and butter track I’d call it. and well worth a listen.
