Some thunder from the sticksman brought this one to life instantly and it wasn’t long before the riffs hit, bringing some catchy melody to the occasion.

I found the sound a bit bass heavy and the cymbals crashed a little freely but, there was a definite positivity energy wise and it was as plain as the nose on your face that the focus was on good time rock n roll here.

BlitZ have always impressed me with their songwriting abilities and The Score hasn’t done anything to change that.

Some solid guitar work – both rhythm and lead – as always, a shining light in any BlitZ track.

My one complaint though is the vocal. The voice makes or breaks a song for me and, is one of the main things that always stood out for me with this band – the raw passion and grit driving every song forward. Personally, I think that element is subdued too much on this track. For me, it is over-processed and makes it sound like something I heard earlier done on Suno from another song submission.

It’s still a great song though and catchy as hell!
