Such a sweet opening. It had a touch of 80s AOR about it – especially with that beat.
As the vocal came in, it was clerar that it was NOT going to be THAT. I was fine with that though as things unfolded.
The production was the main thing I noticed – so clear and vibrant which, was even more apparent as the track continually rose and fall in energy and aggression.
Musically, it was excellent, the vocals were top notch too (apart from a teeny bit of pseudo growl right at the end which I forgave as it was negligeble and RIGHT at the end).
A well written song which never ceased to entertain
