This blasted into my lugholes in stupendously good fashion.

A cracking riff, gritty but tuneful vocal and some rather punchy rhythm. A great blend of classic and sleazy rock n roll with loads of melody.

The guitars gave me shades of Steve Stevens with lots of rather tasty little tricks. 2:08… nothing had prepared me for that melodic goodness leading into the solo and really displayed some hotness prior to the breakdown.

Oh… and about that breakdown… It was executed in true hard rockin style. You could drop this into around 1988 and it’d be like it was there all its life.

Special mention to the BVs and gang vocals too – Nice touch 🙂

One of the best rock songs I have heard all year!
