This opens with a nice punchy rhythm and some deep bass.

This is the first release with the new look line up with Silent Thieves now a four-piece with a new vocalist. I’m familiar with the band so, what do I think of this new sound?

Well… The initial vocal that comes in is a bit like a cross between Tom Waits and Tyla from Dog’s D’amour with laryngitis but, do you know? It WORKS!

The musical element is still there and the Thieves still know how to write a song. This is perhaps their most commercially friendly to date and it is PACKED with melody.

Every song means something different to everyone that hears it. For the band, ‘What About Love?’ touches on both personal and worldwide issues where there is a lack of empathy, whether it’s between two people or world leaders, simply asking them an important question, ‘What About Love?’

Some solid playing, it is well written, it’s tight and it is structured like a song should be. I have to say… I LOVE this!
